What environmental engineers do?

Collect data and analyse on how human impact the environment to improve recycling, public health, pollution and waste disposal
Conduct hazardous-waste management studies.
Design municipal water supply and industrial wastewater treatment systems
Research the environmental impact of proposed construction projects.

They must be a good team player to work with others to move towards a common goal. They usually work with engineers and scientists who design systems and with technicians who implement the design.
