If the weather forecaster predicts the next season, an atmospheric scientist will analyse the pattern and build a map on the overall picture how it looks like. They look into the dynamics of the weather system.

Being an atmospheric scientist could be really adventurous because their workplace is not limited to the lab, but they travel often to collect data, watch actual weather conditions from the ground or the aircraft.
