Environmental Engineer
Environmental issues such as global warming, the greenhouse effect and pollution are soaring. Environmental engineer is an emerging career in this scenario. They need to discover innovative solutions to environmental problems.
What do environmental engineers do?
- Collect data and analyse how humans impact the environment to improve recycling, public health, pollution and waste disposal.
- Conduct hazardous waste management studies.
- Design municipal water supply and industrial wastewater treatment systems
- Research the environmental impact of proposed construction projects.
They must be good team players who can work with others to achieve a common goal. They usually work with engineers and scientists (who design systems) and technicians (who implement the design).
